The Design: Inspired by American folk art, folk tall tales, and nature, Adam created this folkin’ art series. 

We thought this listing would be a good place to talk about the inspiration behind this piece, and Dark Cycle’s connections to sharks and introduce you to the Cycloptopus. One misty morning we went on a shark cage dive, team building trip, to overcome Darkcycla’s* intense fear of deep water. All was going well until an unusually aggressive, possibly rabid, dolphin teamed up with a clever cycloptopus to open the cage. A whale-sized shark chased the duo away, closed the cage with a whip of her tail, and gave the entire team an unmistakable wink. All animals and humans were unharmed and nobody overcame any fears on this trip.

The Process: We’ve printed our exclusive design through a high mesh screen using lightweight ink. All designs are printed by hand. We go through great lengths to give you comfortable clothing made to wash and wear over and over again.
